Pretty in Pink

I don’t often take the time to pamper myself. It’s kind of funny because I am a Girly-girl for the most part. I love make-up, shoes, purses and clothes and hair accessories – especially while having long hair.

I hadn’t cut my hair since January and even that was done to help a friend who was getting her state board certification for cosmetology. So I was quite overdo for a cut and the ends on my very long hair were getting dry.

My friend, Sara, has had her cosmetology license for years but hasn’t been using it for a career for for quite some time. She is starting to work doing hair part-time again and asked if I would be her first client. I was delighted to oblige.

Here are the results:

We just cut about two inches off. My hair is really healthy again now that she got the dead ends off. But I swear my hair seemed so short at first! I’m getting used to it now. I’m certainly enjoying the ends not being so dry and tangly when I go to brush through it.

If you are looking for a good stylist let me know. She is working on building her client list and would love to have you. Her prices are super reasonable too!

Thank you Sara! Looking forward to having you do my hair from here forward.

  1. Looks good! Now let’s get some layers in there and I have a feeling you would make a gorgeous red-head! Adventure time! 🙂

    • Well, it’s reddish already isn’t it? Your ends look more blonde but the roots look red in this pic? But that would be fun to do like a darker red for the fall/winter!

      • It looks more red in pics but not really. The roots are more Blondish than anything. I’ve died my hair red before. We it was “Strawberry Blonde” but it turned out super red. I will try to find the pic. It was like ten years ago. 🙂
