Too Much Paperwork!

Well friends, I have good news. Don’t you love good news? The doctor (endo specialist) that I talked about in my previous post called me on Monday. They were amazing and asked me if I wanted to come for an appointment to get a second opinion. I said absolutely as it has been so many years and I am so done.  I had told them in my records review request how much I have been through and they said that this is what they see all the time. I was imagining it would take at least a month to get in to see him, but he is seeing me next Friday, February 25, 2011. I am SO excited. I know, getting excited to see a doctor sounds kind of odd to some, but for me this brings me hope for the first time in a very long time.

I have been busy getting my medical records in order and scanning in documents to email to them. I scanned in the most important ones to email as I don’t have a fax machine at home, and it is actually nice to have digital copies of my surgery reports available at my fingertips. The rest of my records I am having my mom fax from her work tomorrow. There are about 50 pages of records left and I am not scanning in every page at a time for that much left. As it was I scanned about 50 pages already just of the stuff they needed right away, mostly operation reports and a 13 page questionnaire they had me fill out.

I am very hopeful about this appointment and really think this doctor can help me get my life back. Please pray that all goes well and this leads to a road of recovery for me! Thanks for all your support friends.
