Fingerprint Friday

June 4, 2010

Every Friday, Becki over at The Rusted Chain hosts Fingerprint Friday. This is how it works:

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here’s how to join in. Please sign in only if you’re participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God’s fingerprints. Be sure to link back over at Becki’s blog, so others can find the entire list of participants.
2. After you’ve posted your blog, sign the MckLinky in her comments section of the current Fingerprint Friday Post. Have fun exploring the other links as well!

I was blessed to spend two weeks in San Fransisco. As most people know, there are some gorgeous views to be found there. We woke up last Sunday morning to the most beautiful day – the clearest we had seen it outside since arriving. I took the opportunity to snap some pictures of the Bay Bridge. The morning sun was above the bridge and reflecting off the water below.

Morning Sun on the Bay

God greatly blessed me with a break from life. I took the opportunity to rejoice in His creation, mixed in with man-made objects that sometimes enhance the view.

What have you seen around you this week that inspired you? Comment me here and link and Becki’s blog too if you blog about it!

  1. Love the pic of San Fransisco. Truly and wondrous day there while you were there.
I am so thankful that you and your mom got the chance to break scenery and take in the beauty, and enjoy Danny’s company as well.
The fingerprints of God are all over you and your mom. Both going through so much, and so much stress in your home, yet you are still enjoying time away together. Love prevails. Always. As long as we don’t give up on it. And you two never have.
    Love you always, sweetheart.

    • Thanks Shelley. No matter what mom and I know how to enjoy family and love on each other. We had a great time. Love you too.
